What We Do

Learn about our services and how we can help you feel better and get stronger.

If you're new to chiropractic treatment, you might think that adjustments are all we do. However, we have a variety of tools and techniques at our disposal to help you manage your pain, gain strength, and make you feel better. These include:

Manual Therapy

  • Cross-friction Massage: Targets specific areas of the muscle to increase blood flow, decrease sensitivity, and create a healing environment for the tissue.

  • Dry Needling: Dry needling is a minimally invasive technique utilized by chiropractors to alleviate muscle pain and improve overall function. During a session, thin needles are inserted into specific trigger points within muscles, tendons, or connective tissues. It's a safe and evidence-based approach that aims to provide relief and restore your body's balance, ultimately supporting your journey towards optimal wellness.

  • Myofascial Release: Places pressure on areas of the muscle that are restricting range of motion and then lengthens to create a deep stretch. This technique can extend beyond the muscle and have an effect on the ligaments, tendons, and nerves that may be involved, ultimately helping you increase range of motion and develop better movement patterns.

  • IASTM (Instrumental Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation): Uses a combination of different tools, strokes, and pressure to help the muscle relax, decrease pain, and increase range of motion.

  • Percussion Therapy: Using a tool that provides rapid, short duration vibrations to tight or underutilized muscles to develop better feedback from them to reduce tightness and increase reaction time.

Chiropractic Adjustments

Our skeleton is an incredible structure comprised of over 200 bones that are held together at the joint. Occasionally due to stiff muscles, injuries, or a lack of movement, these joints can become restricted and can limit our range of motion. What an adjustment or joint mobilization entails is a small force going into the joint to help it regain that range of motion. These mobilizations can be applied to many of the joints of the body including the spine, arms, and legs.

Exercise Rehab

  • Movement Assessments: There are times when the true cause of pain is not where we actually feel the pain. Using assessments like the SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization), and other exercises, we can observe where there could be some limitations in your movement and find out who the real culprit is.

  • Exercise Rehabilitation: Once we have determined where you're having issues with your movement, whether it's lack of mobility, muscle asymmetry, or not enough control of a certain movement, we will give you personalized exercises that will allow you to take control of your pain when you are not in the clinic.
